Programme unification for Accounting and Business

Over the past 18 months, Te Pūkenga subsidiaries have been working to unify the NZ Diploma in Business (Level 5), our Accounting degree (Level 7) and our Level 3 and 4 Business programmes. Unified programmes mean that there will be one programme of study aligned with each qualification, that works for learners in all regions. The unified programmes are high-level, broad and flexible programmes that allows each region the ability to tailor the programme delivery to meet their community needs.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the recent consultation process for the NZ Diploma in Business (Level 5) and the Accounting Degree (Level 7). We have now closed consultation and made programme updates in response to the feedback. The programme is now working through the final stages of approval and accreditation and teams are working towards delivery of the unified programmes in Semester 1 2023, subject to approval and accreditation.

We will be inviting feedback on the Level 3 and 4 Business programmes in the second half of 2022.
